The Meindl Terlan GTX walking boot is a boot suitable for people with wider feet. Being part of Meindl’s Comfort-Fit range it offers excellent support and a natural relaxed fit. The uppers are made from suede and mesh providing a lightweight yet supportive boot. The addition of a GORE-TEX lining ensures that the boot is waterproof and durable in all weather conditions. A rubber rand protects against abrasion on rougher terrain. The footbed is extra comfortable made from cork with a wider surface area at the front of the boot. This allows for more movement and support as the foot, particularly the toes, can sit comfortablly. With a fleece covering this footbed guarantees stability and unbeatable comfort. The Terlan GTX boasts a Meindl Multigrip (by Vibram) sole with EVA shock absorber meaning reduced impact and lots of cushioning. The Terlan GTX is perfect for hill-walking if you have a wider foot.

Terlan GTX walking boot feature guide:
● Suede and mesh uppers
● GORE-TEX lining
● Comfort-Fit, cork and fleece footbed
● Meindl Multigrip  Vibram with EVA shock absorber
● Waterproof protection

Conditioning and proofing spray keeps nubuck leather and suede protected. The boots can be treated when the uppers aren’t quite dry – it ensures they’ll remain supple. Applying a little wax to the hooks and eyelets will protect them from corrosion.

Quality boots

I have several pairs of Meindl boots and these are no different. They are very comfortable to wear and have a high build quality.

Light weight and comfortable for wide feet

I have abnormally wide feet and never find new shoes comfortable but these felt good from the word go and have only improved since. They have good, tough Vibram soles so walking over hard, rough ground doesn't hurt my feet. They are probably better for spring, summer and autumn than winter as their light weight means they are not particularly warm, but the light weight feels good after wearing heavier boots.
