The Meindl Burma Pro MFS is a superb walking boot, perfect for the hills, moorland and low level mountain trails. Fully waterproof thanks to its Gore-Tex lining you can be sure your feet will stay dry even in the wettest conditions. A great boot for when the going gets a little rough, the Burma is equipped with a stiff Multigrip Vibram sole providing good shock absorption that will fill you with confidence on tricky descents. As well as a Digafix lacing system, the Memory Foam System technology moulds to your feet and ensures you feel the comfort this boot offers from your very first wear. The Burma comes with an Air-Active footbed that aids ventilation and will provide good support throughout summer and winter hikes.

Cleaning Tips

The boots should be cleaned of any mud or dirt prior to waxing. Apply Meindl Sportwax to the upper to keep the leather soft and supple, it is recommended that you clean your boots each time you have used them. And apply Sportwax after every few wears. If your boots are nubuck leather then you can you Meindl Conditioner and proofer to keep the finish on the boots the same, otherwise sportwax can be used for maximum protection.

The Goretex lining should be washed every 6 to 12 months dependent on useage. Fill the boot with a water and mild detergent solution and then swill it around prior to rinsing with water. This will clean the Goretex lining and improve its effectiveness.
