Leatherman purchase

Purchased a leatherman from these guys which unfortunately was faulty. I contacted the seller and they were happy for me to return it and get it replaced with another one, which they sourced and checked especially for me due to no more stock. Great customer service and swift delivery.

Will stand some abuse

The Leatherman Rebar is a solid multitool that feels like it will stand up well to a fair amount of abuse, but it is not bulletproof. As with any hinged tool it doesn't seem like it enjoys being twisted. I tried to bend out a mild steel, double wire hook that had become closed and the pressure and slight twist needed for this set the plier ends out of whack. This is not a deal-breaker and the pliers still work fine (just like all my other pliers I've knocked off kilter) but the twist cracked a small chip from the (replaceable) blade on the wire stripper attachment and launched the shrapnel with for he.... I don't mind as most of my tools like like "a crash dummy drove it" but it's worth noting before purchase.
If you're gonna twist the pliers, wear eye protection.
That being said I am super happy with the Rebar and it has only made me want to buy more Leatherman tools for my other utility belts.
