I love the tent and am l glad I purchased the footprint. The footprint protects the tent's groundsheet as well as keeping it dry - good when packing up. It also allows quickly determine space for pitching if finding it difficult to visualize.
I have found Hill and Dale to be extremely competitive in their prices. Their customer service is excellent in relation to products.
I will always consider them first in my purchases in the future.
